As I walk in the arena, all eyes on me
Fear and anxiety taking over
Everything inside me is telling me to leave
Only one thing keeping me here
That thing is a dream
A dream, I’ve worked so hard to achieve
As I focus in, I lay down my hand
I whisper, give me what you can
Suddenly hooked the dust starts to fly
Explosions of excitement, I can barely hang on….
Belly in the dirt, Knees to the ground
Everything fades except the tremble in my spine
Alone in the moment, nothing else matters,
except my dream, and the love of the ride.
